I am not a studio with a rotating roster. I am your filmmaker, with a second cinematographer beside me when the day needs one, and Super 8 in the bag for every collection.
I have been doing this since 2017. Video has always captivated me. Before weddings, I filmed friends, road trips, and my family doing everything and nothing in particular. The footage I kept coming back to was rarely the obvious moment. It was the breath before it, the glance across the room, someone laughing when they thought nobody was looking. That is still what I am after.
By the time I arrive, I have already spoken with your planner and photographer, looked through the timeline, and learned what matters to you. I do not run the day or ask you to perform for the camera. I stay observant, give simple direction when it is useful, and leave room for the day to happen.
If you are camera-shy, you are in good company. Most couples are. Once the day gets moving, most forget the cameras are there, and that is when the best moments tend to show up.
I shoot real Super 8 at every wedding and send it to a lab to be processed and scanned. Every collection includes it; the amount of film expands with the scope of the day. It takes more time, and that is part of why I keep using it. It brings a texture that digital cannot copy: imperfect, physical, and familiar in a way that feels like memory.
I use it for the parts of the day you will want to feel again: the room during a toast, a grandmother on the dance floor, the two of you with a minute alone at the end of the night.
I take on a limited number of weddings each year.
